Hi folks. First year of hibernation for my Troy, and we're both pretty nervous! (well i am). I've taken notes from previously posted topics on this subject, but didn't find anything on what needs to be done during the hibernation period particularly weighing. I don't have a fridge available, so the garage is looking like the most likely place for this year :( . I'm sure everyone has already heard enough of questions of this nature so apologies, and thanks or your help.

Try this link
I weigh mine once a week whilst in hibernation, they must not loose more than 10% of their body weight, if they do you must get them out of hibernation

Thanks. Lorna's been having computer problems but I have let her know there's a link waiting for her. Also if anyone has advice relating to Lorna's no fridge problem then do let us know. He might be able to squeese into mines...but she would still appriciate advice on that.

Thanks for the advice.

Just want to say thanks for all the help. I'm having trouble accessing that website at college (something to do with an unactive user), but I have a rough idea of what to do now. Is it time for his wind down do you think?

Hi, and yes, pretty much so. Its very cool now. Some good stuff here in the hibernation section, in terms of bathing and light restrictions, slowly does it, and gradual reductions.:-)
