Can anyone help me identify this? He is passing it in his urine, is it what is being refered to in previous posts?

Looks like a small stone 'heavy gritty build up of urates' could be either
dehydration: doubt it as im sure you give plenty of baths and fluids.
oxalates: diet, keep an eye on what food types torty is eating making sure hes not just going for the high in oxalate variety, make sure he has a good well balanced mix. :-D

Id say your tort is very dehydrated, bath a couple times a day, it shouldnt be gritty if the tort is hydrated.

Keeping torts hydrated could be an important issue this year, if we get the blistering heat the forecasters are saying we are in for.

No Don is right, hydration is a concern when we have hot days, but i reckon the forecasters are on another planet if they reckon we will get blistering heat :-D But BRING IT ON :lol:
